A “special moment” shared between a couple that was inadvertently caught on camera by a stranger has captivated users on TikTok.
The “sweet” interaction was captured on June 8 in a photograph snapped by @g0osee, who shared the picture in a viral video on TikTok in a bid to locate the couple. The clip has amassed over 752,000 views since it was first shared on June 24.
The image shows an aerial view from Torre Grossa, the tallest tower in San Gimignano, a medieval city set in the heart of the Tuscany region in north-central Italy. Pictured in the bottom right portion of the shot is a couple embracing each other in a secluded corner at the top of some stairs along the side of a building.
The poster told Newsweek: “I believe this was taken in the stairwell climbing the Torre Grossa. I’m not sure where these steps are located exactly.
“I didn’t even notice the couple until I got the photo back when I returned,” the poster added.
A caption shared with the post says: “TikTok do your thing! Taken on June 8th in San Gimignano!”
A note overlaid on the viral video reads: “I took this photo on my trip to Italy this month and didn’t realize the sweet couple having a special moment in the corner until I got the film developed.”
A subsequent message on the screen says: “It feels like I was meant to capture this moment for them. Plz help me find them so they can have this photo!”
The poster told Newsweek that she has “yet to see any comments identifying the couple” since she shared the photograph on TikTok.
